When the virtual space is the only place in which people live, what is the position of human privacy? Will it disappear under the influence of social media or will it be skillfully preserved? What happens when our identity is shaped by an algorithm? Maybe it is the software that will take us back to what is human. Set in the future “The Future is Private” is a theater play that speaks about a life shaped by physical distance, isolation and communication exclusively through virtual profiles.
An independent theatrе group, that got started with this project, exploring real life, as opposed to the virtual, online life. Privacy and privatization, cyberspace distancing. The idea was developed even before the coronavirus and quarantine online functioning.
